Today is 10th of September year 2009. It's my Lolo 'tangay's birthday. I wish he was here to celebrate it with us. Its been nine years since God asked my Lolo to join Him and left us...even for that whole time I've never seem to move on, I still miss my grandfather every time I think about the memories we both had had...those were priceless memories that I somehow kept playing in my mind when I felt like the world is against me...My lolo was a very brave man,he was a former Philippine soldier fighting for our freedom against the Japanese occupation. He fought with fellow Filipino soldiers and American soldiers. He told me about that when I was just a kid..He used to give me candies,bananas or money whenever I'm visiting him from school. I used to sleep in my grandparent's bedroom every afternoon with my Lolo before I go home. My lolo would sing and narrate a poem about the Philippines...though,I forgot what it was..hehe..
